You can picture your norbt web page like a safe deposit box in a secure vault.
The number of your safe deposit box is the URL of your norbt web page.
The key used to open the box and view the contents is the answer to your personal question.
The key to change the content of your box is your password.
As in a high-security vault we cannot see or change the content of your box. norbt doesn’t save your password or the answer to your personal question. So your data stays private to you and those who know the answer.

norbt.com has been translated to Catalan. We support three languages now: English, Spanish and Catalan.

We are internationalizing norbt.com. For now we support 2 languages: English and Spanish. The default language depends on your browser. You may change the language by clicking the link at the bottom of any norbt.com page.
We will add more languages in the future.
Note: we do not translate your norbt, just the text on our web.
Our blog remains in English and we will not translate it for now.

norbt.com (pronounced no robot) facilitates sharing text data in a secure way.
norbt.com allows you to create some norbt‘s. Each norbt will contain your chosen text protected by a challenge. The challenge is a question and answer combination you decide when creating your norbt.
You can create as many norbt‘s as you like and target each to a different audience. Just use a different challenge for each audience.
norbt.com uses browser-side cryptography so only your audience has access to the locked text of your norbt. Note that your target audience will usually not include norbt.com administrators . We are not interested on your secrets either, we are busy here!
To convince you that we are serious about security, here’s a few details about the browser-side encryption.
- Clear-text data is only available on the browser. That is, the server never has clear-text data and has no way to obtain it.
- The server will only provide encrypted data to users proving they know the answer. Only those users will have access to the encrypted data and their browsers will decrypt it locally. This way we add an extra layer of protection over your locked data.
- All communication is over secure channel.
norbt.com is a secure way to share data on the net. Only those who know your norbt‘s ID and the answer to your challenge will have access to view what you have encrypted.
We do not ask for sign in or email, and we never have access to your unencrypted data.
